The Importance Of Early Socialization

At New Earth Farm Poodles and Doodles, we believe that early socialization is the cornerstone of raising emotionally healthy, well-adjusted puppies. Puppies that experience positive interactions with diverse people, animals, environments, and sounds from an early age are significantly less likely to develop behavioral problems such as aggression, fear, or anxiety.

Exposure to Diverse Environments

From their earliest days, our puppies at New Earth Farm interact regularly with individuals of all ages, including children, adults, and seniors. This ensures they grow comfortable with human presence and handling. Additionally, we carefully introduce them to various animals on the farm—other dogs, chickens, goats, and more—so they're comfortable around pets and animals they might encounter throughout their lives.

Familiarity with Household Life

We intentionally expose our puppies to common household sounds and situations, such as music, vacuum cleaners, hair dryers, and bustling conversations. This exposure significantly reduces anxiety and fear responses in adulthood, helping puppies seamlessly adjust to life in a family home. Our puppies are also regularly handled, building trust and comfort with human touch, resulting in affectionate, confident dogs.

Our Commitment at New Earth Farm

At New Earth Farm Poodles and Doodles, comprehensive early socialization using the Puppy Culture training system is integral to our training approach. This careful and intentional practice ensures that each puppy leaving our farm is emotionally balanced, confident, and fully prepared to become a beloved and well-adjusted member of their new family.
